TYNEDALE TORIES TO SPEND £200,000 ON BARRISTER TO STOP WINDFARMS

Despite growing evidence of rapid global warming. Tory controlled Tynedale Council are spending £200,000 of your money on barrister fees at a public enquiry into windfarms.
Regardless of Cameron's green gestures, local Tories have made their opposition to all windfarms quite clear. At the public enquiry into the siting of windfarms in Northumberland which starts in January 2008, it is clear there will be an effort to further delay any developments which could help to reduce carbon emissions.
At the May local elections the Tories targeted Lib Dem candidates who supported windfarms.
