- Andrew has lived in Northumberland most of his life, spending many years in Stannington.
- He is married to Helen, a farmer's daughter from Corbridge. Their two children both went to local schools.
- Andrew is a trained teacher and has taught in local schools in Ponteland.
- Andrew is a former District and County Councillor and an ex-Royal Navy Officer, with the experience, energy and commitment needed to serve local people.
- Andrew is a local champion who will fight to protect our public services.
- Andrew has been the Chair of Stannington First School's PTA and a member of Stannington Players.
- Andrew Duffield will provide a strong, honest and local voice for people in our area.
